Have you noticed that the models all look to be mature women?The Regency ones as well. The French mannequins are shown as young, but those are the only ones. Mature women were the ones who were seen as buying the clotehs.
I wonder when the advertising changed and young women became the pefered models?
@Nancy Beats me. I don’t participate in today’s fashion culture I don’t have the energy to be a fashion snob.
Beautiful, but I’m so glad I don’t have to wear them.
Goodness, those poor girls, some of them have been corsetted so tightly their insides seem to have be squished out the tops of their heads.
