I recently came across several lovely illustrated volumes of poetry by American poet, novelist, and playwright Paul Laurence Dunbar, 1872 \u2013 1906. The last line of his playful poem \u201cDinah Kneading Dough\u201d caused me to sigh, so I\u2019m passing it along for your enjoyment.

You can find the poem in Candle-Lightin\u2019 Time <\/em>(love that title!) published in 1901. I\u2019ll post more of his poems in the future! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
