Bonnet of black velvet, the curtain of blonde and lace,\u00a0coquille\u00a0<\/em>of the same.\u00a0Saule\u00a0<\/em>(willow) feathers and a small black ostrich feather placed upon the highest portion of the rim, and meeting the\u00a0coquille\u00a0<\/em>.\u00a0<\/em>The cap trimmed with tufts of\u00a0ponceau,\u00a0<\/em>flowers and leaves; black\u00a0aureole;<\/em>white lining and strings. Second Toilette.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>A dress of silver grey\u00a0pou-de-soie,\u00a0<\/em>trimmed\u00a0en tablier\u00a0<\/em>with well-designed\u00a0passementeries,\u00a0<\/em>finished at each end with tufted medallions: bodice high, and double-pointed: sleeves full, gathered in at the hem with passementeries to accord with those of the skirt. Collar and under-sleeves embroidered. White bonnet\u00a0pique;\u00a0<\/em>the curtain of blue velvet; the front edged with the same: velvet flowers grouped with velvet; coquille of the same. The cap perfectly corresponding: strings of blue taffetas.<\/p>\n

Second\u00a0Plate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

First Toilette.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Dress of\u00a0mastic\u00a0<\/em>taffetas. Cloak of black taffetas having a\u00a0lerthe\u00a0<\/em>trimmed with guipure, which combines artistically with the sleeve, and indeed forms part of it. Trimmings of rich\u00a0passementerie,\u00a0<\/em>together with large buttons and looped cords. Bonnet of black tulle, trimmed with black feathers and a puff of crimson or\u00a0ponceau\u00a0<\/em>velvet placed as forward as possible; strings black, edged with white; lined with black; white side linings; puff\u00a0ponceau.\u00a0<\/em>Collar and undersleeves embroidered.<\/p>\n

Second Toilette.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Dress of azure blue taffetas.\u00a0Basquine\u00a0<\/em>in black taffetas: trimmed with\u00a0goihic\u00a0<\/em>-designs of the same material as the cloak; “white buttons at the angles, the whole trimming completed at the edges with whitepassementeries.\u00a0<\/em>Bonnet of white\u00a0tulle,\u00a0<\/em>puff of blue drooping feathers;\u00a0coquille\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>of blonde meeting the- feathers; curtain white, with an\u00a0echarpe\u00a0<\/em>of blue velvet crossed at the centre. The cap white and blue velvet flowers; white strings. Collar and sleeves embroidered.<\/p>\n

Third\u00a0Plate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

First Toilette.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Dress of empire green taffetas, trimmed with two pinked flounces, set in rounded .scallops, commencing about two inches from the hem: each flounce is surmounted with an embroidered plait of green velvet, traversed by a band of darker green; each scallop of the flounces looped with bands of green velvet; the bodice high, with a \u00a0small point; the sleeves wide, trimmed down the front with a pinked frill, in harmony with the flounces. Bonnet in\u00a0tulle blonde,\u00a0<\/em>blonde curtain\u00a0a traverse;\u00a0<\/em>the outer edge fringed with soft feathers curling below the inner edge of the bonnet; white strings. Collar and sleeves embroidered.<\/p>\n

Second Toilette.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Taffetas dress; bodice round; the sleeves, elbows,\u00a0&c,\u00a0<\/em>demi-wide; the trimming of the skirt commencing about four inches above the hem, and composed of three flounces of narrow black fluted lace, and headed by a high\u00a0passementerie<\/em>; the bodice trimmed Swiss, in\u00a0passementerie,\u00a0<\/em>similar to that of the skirt, and framed with black lace, which forms\u00a0bretelles;\u00a0<\/em>the sleeves are edged with black lace, turned back. White crape bonnet; velvet curtain edged with lace. Puffs of small black feathers and pale primrose flowers in the cap; white strings.<\/p>\n

Fourth\u00a0Plate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

First Toilette.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Dress of blue\u00a0tarlatane,\u00a0<\/em>trimmed with seven double flounces, above which is placed a\u00a0bouillonne,\u00a0<\/em>forming knots, at the centre of each, being an ornament of tulle. The\u00a0bouillonne\u00a0<\/em>is draped at each side; the bodice is also draped; the short sleeves are composed of a small double frill surmounting a whitebouillon.\u00a0<\/em>The\u00a0coiffure\u00a0<\/em>is of velvet flowers and most exquisite leaves grouped upon a gilded coronal; a golden butterfly, forming part of the\u00a0coiffure,\u00a0<\/em>rests upon the nape of the neck. Jewels are arranged with consummate taste on the corsage.<\/p>\n

Second Toilette.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Dress of white taffetas, diapered with\u00a0pendeloque\u00a0<\/em>medallions, and trimmed at each seam withbouillannes\u00a0<\/em>of tulle filling the openings, which are cut square; the whole edged with\u00a0chenille\u00a0<\/em>fringe relieved with small bunches of pearl; the bodice is draped and trimmed with green fringe as already described; sleeves small, each forming a\u00a0coquille,\u00a0<\/em>with short under-sleeves of white\u00a0bouillons.\u00a0<\/em>The\u00a0coiffure\u00a0<\/em>is of velvet, golden\u00a0clous,\u00a0<\/em>and white feathers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
