These are terrific. How I wish I could travel back in time to catch a performance of “Lionel and Clarissa” or “Belles Without Beaux,” along with the oft-mentioned ” Coup d’oeil of unrivalled brillancy!”
I think “Belles Without Beaux or Ladies among Themselves” is my favorite title! Oh, to be able to time travel and check out the new piazza and lighting!
That’s what writers are for… to allow the readers to time travel in imagination through masterly description…
