I can see some connection to the fashions of one hundred years before that date. Compare these pictures with some of fashions on the early 1800’s . That long line— where’s the waist, and drapery.

1st, I want that coat, 2nd, you need the black dress. You would rock it.
You’re gonna need that feather if you wear the coat. You are such a hat person, you would look great with that feather thing. Yeah, we should just wear these clothes….well, except for the itchy hose and the stays…maybe some spandex spanx.
